Maria graduated from Szent Istvan University, Budapest Hungary in 2015. After graduating, she completed an internship at Troytown Grey Abbey Equine Hospital in Ireland. This internship focused on neonatal care, anaesthesia, emergency and inpatient care. Once completing her internship she then stayed on for another year as a Junior Ambulatory Vet.
In 2017 Maria travelled to Australia to pursue her interest in reproduction and neonatal care. Here she completed a stud season at Vinery Stud where she was in charge of the veterinary care of 220 mares and foals. After this season she moved to England to work as an ambulatory vet for six months before returning to Vinery Stud for a second season.
Maria started at the Valley Equine Hospital in February 2019 and wishes to pursue her main interest in mare reproduction. She is also interested in all aspects of equine veterinary medicine from colic work ups to bandage changes.
In her spare time, Maria enjoys running and is hoping to do her first half marathon soon.
