Nina Hounsome BVM&S MRCVS
Hospital Intern
Nina studied veterinary medicine at the University of Edinburgh. She graduated in July 2023 and joined the team here at Valley Equine Hospital in August. During university Nina completed an internal medicine placement at the State University of Colorado which inspired her to pursue a career in an equine hospital. Nina has interests in race work, surgery and internal medicine so decided to take a position at Valley Equine Hospital to see where her career takes her in the future.
Outside of work Nina likes outdoor swimming, hiking Munros and traveling. Being from Scotland, she is enjoying spending her free time exploring the local English countryside.
