Josie graduated from the University of Surrey in August 2021 and started the internship at Valley Equine Hospital shortly after. Josie had previously studied Animal Science at Hartpury College, igniting her passion for working within the equine industry. During university Josie completed a surgical externship at Liphook Equine Hospital, and final year rotations at Lingfield Equine Vets and here at Valley Equine Hospital. These placements inspired Josie to pursue a hospital based role to further channel her interests.
Throughout the internship here at Valley Josie had a keen interest in lameness and poor performance work ups. Having completed her internship in September 2022, Josie joined our ambulatory team and is excited to start her new journey of vetting on the road!
Outside of work, Josie enjoys playing squash, going to the gym, and visiting friends and family
