Melissa Lockwood

Melissa joined Valley Equine Hospital in September 2020 as a Patient Care Assistant
Prior to joining Valley Equine Hospital, Melissa completed a Level Three National Diploma in Equine Management and up to BHS stage 3. She has worked with various horses from rescue cases to top competition horses. She spent the last 5 years working at a veterinary referral centre in Newmarket, where she developed a keen interest in lameness and diagnostic imaging.
Melissa completed the Diploma in Professional Studies, Veterinary Nursing at Hartpury College in June 2023 and is a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, keeping fit and getting out for walks exploring the area.
